I recently bought a KWJ750P. In any pictures I can see of the jig it appears to use a set of plastic type cams to set the depth of cut into the worktop. However in the jig I bought I have received a set of metal rods with offset?

The early KWJ750P jigs came with plastic cams but there were some discrepancies in the lengths of cams, the rods are a lot more accurate and produce a much better joint.
