Trend has been designing and making time-saving solutions for the Trade for 70 years and our passion for greatness continues to grow. Throughout this year we will be asking our customers to join in the celebration, with campaigns and competitions to participate in and knowledge to share.
We will be asking for your stories, and your shared experience – and we may even be coming to your town with some amazing innovative products. So follow us on social media, subscribe to our emails and ensure you don’t miss out.
Our History
Founded in 1955 by Jim Phillips, Trend quickly became synonymous with routers and router cutters. Trend has also had a strong ethos of innovations, performance and quality which it embodies to this day, and will continue to do so over the next 70 years.
At Trend we have expanded our range to ensure it offers all of the tools required for job completion - never forgetting its core values. Over this year we will be building our graphical timeline to show you where we’ve come from and some of the key points in our history.

The Trend brand is built/designed to appeal across a range of professions and trades and also within the Craft or DIY market, with products focusing across these key areas.
Professional and trade products concentrate on the industrial woodworking and building trade. Whether on a commercial factory floor, the joinery workshop or out on site, each is designed to cope with the most demanding situations and optimised to increase productivity and maximise profitability.

We have a number of campaigns running throughout the year offering you the chance to learn some new tricks, share some of your own stories and be in with a chance of winning prizes every month.
Starting February, We are looking for a tradesperson or hobbyist to represent each of the 8 decades that Trend's 70 years have spanned.
Starting with the 1950's right up to the 2020's we will be looking for you to share your story with your connection to that decade for a chance to win £1,000 worth of Trend Tools.
Your receipt could be your golden ticket to win £500 worth of Trend Tools.
For one week of every month of 2025, after purchasing a Trend product, enter our competition showing proof of purchase within that week and at the end of each entry week one lucky winner will be drawn and receive £500 to spend on our website.
